Family and friends,

I’m reaching out during a very difficult time for our family. As many of you know, my daughter Brooke has been in the hospital in Dallas for the past 14 days. She was diagnosed with ARFID, a serious eating disorder that has affected her health in ways we never imagined.

Brooke is currently receiving treatment at Children’s Hospital Dallas, and after this stay, she will be moved to an inpatient treatment center in Plano for at least a month. Because of this, I’ve had to temporarily relocate from Longview to the Dallas/Plano area to stay by her side and help her through every step of this journey.

I will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Plano, which helps with some support, but we are still struggling with daily living expenses, food, transportation, and bills back home. Brooke’s dad, Marshall, has been driving back and forth to be with us as much as he can, but the travel costs and time away from work have added even more pressure.

This has been an emotional and heavy season for us, and we are doing everything we can to stay strong for Brooke. If you are able to help in any way — whether through donating, sharing this link, or keeping us in your prayers — it would mean more than words can say.
