Ujamaa School, an Independent
school (pre- school through high
school) has provided education with African culture for 53 years.
The goals of Ujamaa School:
To provide education With African culture. To impart a sense of strength and pride of self and community to our students that cannot be obtained in public schools.
Students may begin once potty trained and able to receive direction. By the age of 3 or 4 they can be reading and writing. Ujamaahas had students as young as 14 yrs old graduate and continue on at the college level although 15 and 16 year is our normal. We are proud of all of our students’ achievements. Many have become teachers, entrepreneurs, doctors, attorneys ,architects, and engineers and more.
