Help keep Tyagarah Clothing Optional
Donation protected
For over 30 years, locals, tourists, and interstate visitors have embraced the natural beauty and freedom of these beaches. However, the decision by National Parks to revoke Tyagarah's Clothing Optional status in June 2024 has sparked outrage with locals and tourists alike.
National Parks claim stewardship over Tyagarah based on a recent land survey, citing a conflict with management objectives. But many see this move as overreach, denying the community's right to enjoy these spaces naturally.
Byron Naturists are rallying to defend Tyagarah's status as a beacon of inclusivity and freedom. As the only legally recognized Clothing Optional Beach in the area, its loss would be a blow to both locals and visitors.
To fight back, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched. Donations will support legal challenges and preservation efforts for Tyagarah Beach.
Northern Rivers Naturists Inc (formerly Byron Naturists Inc) are determined to take their fight to higher authorities and protect the right to choose how we enjoy nature. Your support today will help preserve Tyagarah Clothing optional beach and lobby for Legal recognition for unofficial CO beaches in the Byron Shire (such as Kings Beach).
