Help keep three trans women housed!
UPDATE #1 (1/18/24)
So it looks like we figured out the reason why the other roommate ran. They were underpaying the utility bill every month, meaning that between the gas bill and electric bill, the house is in the hole by approximately $4000. Every share and donation helps.

-----------------
Hi, we're Jhoira (a.k.a. Jamie, any pronouns), Sunday (she/her), and Hana (she/her), three transfeminine people living in Rhode Island. This past weekend, the fourth person (and primary breadwinner) in the household packed up their stuff and left in the middle of the night without warning, leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves.
Sunday is disabled, so in addition to not being able to work a 9-5 job, she also has multiple medications that need to be paid for. Jhoira works temp and gig jobs, and as such, works very infrequent hours. Hana was working full-time up until a few weeks ago, when she was laid off due to cutbacks at her company. Fortunately, both Jhoira & Hana are currently in the process of interviewing for other full-time jobs. In the meantime, we need support keeping our heads above water while Jhoira & Hana wait for regular work schedules.
Cost breakdown:
- Rent & utilities total to approximately $1400/month; the $3000 goal therefore allows for two months of a roof over our heads for us to get everything else sorted out. The remaining money will go towards:
- Food
- Laundry
- Medication
- Gas & maintenance for our one shared car
