Help Keep This Family Together After Dad Was Detained at an ICE Check-In

I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my neighbor D:

“My family is facing one of the most difficult and heartbreaking experiences of our lives. At what was supposed to be a routine ICE check-in for our family, my husband was unexpectedly taken into custody. In a single moment, our family was torn apart.

He has always been a kind, hardworking, and loving father and husband whose greatest joy in life is his 4-year-old daughter. She is his entire world. Being separated from her and us from him has been devastating for all of us.”

Now, his wife D has been left to navigate this overwhelming situation alone while caring for their young daughter. She is also facing the challenges and uncertainty of living under ICE supervision with an ankle monitor while trying to fight to keep her family together. The loss of income, ongoing living expenses, and the urgent need for legal representation have created an overwhelming burden during an already painful time.

We are raising funds to help cover their rent, other living expenses and fees for legal representation. Every donation no matter the size, will help relieve some of the pressure this family is carrying and give them a chance to focus on what matters most: staying together.
