Gwen Johnson is a fighter. She beat breast cancer. Then, without hesitation, she stepped up to raise her 1-year-old granddaughter, Miley, when her daughter went to prison. Since then, it’s been just Gwen and Miley.  Gwen has done everything she can to provide for Miley on WIC alone. She’s even gone without her own medications to make sure Miley had diapers and food.

 After her landlord sold the land under her mobile home, Gwen spent her last $5,000 moving it. But the new lot has no power or water hookups. Hotel costs added up fast, so Gwen is now staying in the mobile home with no electricity. Miley is staying with me so she’s safe and warm until we can get the lights on. 

Gwen isn’t asking for a handout. She just needs help with one thing: $2,500 to install a power pole and connect water/electric so she and Miley can be home together again. --- If you can give, thank you.
