HELP KEEP " THEIR SHELTER" OPEN
Donation protected
Their shelter is an LGBTIQ/NB safe space that was opened up July 15th, as an initiative under Women for Women Africa to help reduce the number of homeless refugees and queer Females born and Female Identifying individuals, from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and also Kenyan Nationals in the same situation, Their shelter is a transitional home mainly to help individuals get peace of mind and work on mental health as they get ready to get back on their feet.
For the Passed few months we have been lacking food, and we are not able to keep the house open. Being LGBTIQ+ is still illegal in East Africa and is now punishable by 20-40 years in Jail in countries like Uganda and Ethiopia if the mob doesn't get to you first, this has led to the displacement of many LGBTIQ+people We are receiving many numbers of people looking for a place to put their heads but the shortage of resources has made it hard for us to open our doors for all.
Your donation can change that.
