I created TheEricStone.com as a home for years of creative work that might otherwise become scattered or forgotten. It brings together my stories, animation, music, films, articles, photographs, computer projects, memories, and unusual ideas.
This is a handmade personal website—not a sterile portfolio or a large company. It includes my independent animated comedy Life of Jaffar, music and audio experiments, movie writing, photography, Python projects, and stories dedicated to people and experiences that have mattered to me.
In a strange but honest way, this dream of a website is a Wren High School production, with a summer session at Greenville High and seven years split between Greenville Tech and Clemson University. I may not be the smartest person in the room, but that is often where the humor exists. The site is partly dedicated to the awkward moments in my life when the only friend I had was a book—and to what can happen when you keep creating anyway.
I have personally paid for the website, domain, equipment, and creative tools used to build it. I am proud of how far it has come, but I cannot continue funding every part of its growth alone.
Money raised will help pay for domain renewal, website services, reliable storage and backups, and the tools I use to create articles, artwork, animation, music, narration, and video. It may also help with equipment repairs, camera and audio accessories, promotion, usability improvements, and eventually paying creative collaborators fairly instead of asking people to donate their time.
I want to be honest: the website will not disappear overnight if this fundraiser falls short. However, its growth will slow, projects may remain on hold, and work that took years of learning and courage to share publicly may not receive the support it needs to continue.
Since losing my mother, having meaningful work to return to has become even more important to me. With my birthday arriving on September 24, this feels like a natural turning point—a chance to protect what I have already made and begin the next stage.
If you enjoy the website or believe in independent creative work, please consider helping me keep TheEricStone growing. Any donation helps, and sharing the fundraiser helps just as much.
Collaboration is also welcome. If you are a writer, artist, musician, filmmaker, performer, or simply someone with an unusual story, I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for helping preserve what is already there and make room for whatever comes next.
