Help Keep the Yoga Flowing :)

I moved to Carrboro because I fell in love with it as soon as I drove into town, and knew it would be the place to raise my special child with like-minded individuals and similar parenting styles. So I closed my yoga studio in Myrtle Beach, and with a boatload of faith and ambition and gusto, and only about $5,000 in my pocket, I moved my life, my child, and everything I had known for over 10 years, and opened a new yoga Shala in a town where no one knew me. 

A couple of students relocated themselves to come along for the ride, and I had a couple of students in the area already, but the growth has been slow, as the traditional, disciplined, deeply spiritual work that I have devoted my life to practice and teach is never going to become popular for the masses; any more than any other transformative practice or spiritual calling. But there are always those seeking more, and I am committed to working with them, as it supports the cycle and development of love and peace as I continue to develop into my own Truth this way.

I have now 7 monthly unlimited pass holders and a handful of here and there drop-ins -- this is a wonderful place to begin a new yoga community! This is about what I had developed over 5 years of teaching in Myrtle Beach. But, it has taken me 10 months to build this beginning, and overhead is much higher in this area. 

In this 10 months I have accumulated debt and this makes it difficult for me to really build on what I've created (a tremendous feat in such a small time), so I'm seeking funds from friends, former students, family and anyone who believes in the devotional power behind what I do to help. 

There have been several who have offered themselves to giving me a hand if I need it, and I feel this is a solid way to assert my request for aid at this time, allowing for anyone who truly desires to assist, to do so in a loving and faith-oriented motivation, supporting something that supports the goodness and love in all who share in it.

Help keep me open. Help me to keep helping others. Help me to make the world a better place.
