What’s up guys. This is Bryan from Lurking class skate shop. I recently received a cease and desist letter from the fire marshal thanks to a racist Facebook troll that couldn’t stand to see a rap show happening in Salisbury. Despite never having a single problem at any of the shows since we started having shows, we now NEED a second entrance/fire exit if these shows are going to be a long term thing. For that to happen, my plan is to shorten the total length of the ramp to make room for an exit onto Main Street. I don’t mind doing to necessary work to make room for that exit, but commercial doors are not cheap. I’m open to talking about details about the project in person but I don’t think it all needs to be laid out here. Every penny raised from this will go towards completely transforming the skate shop into a legitimate venue/skate shop for EVERYONE in the community, while giving us the potential to bring bigger artists from all over. It’s really hard for me to ask for help. I typically do everything by myself but this is a really big project that would absolutely be a game changer for the local music scene. It’s a ton of physical work on my end, but it’s worth it to me to see a room full of smiling faces. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. If you can’t contribute, please share it with everyone you know. Also if you see the fire marshal, his name is Eric Cramer. Thank him for being a good dude and not actually shutting things down while we work this out. Love you guys. -Bryan
