My name is Anna and I am owner of The Raw Superstore. Unfortunately in past few weeks in August and September , unexpected roadworks have been taking place directly outside our shop. We were not given any prior notice by the council, and as a result, access to our business has been severely restricted.

The impact has been devastating — we’ve seen a drastic drop in sales, and we are now down over £20,000 . Despite our requests, unfortunately, the council refused to offer any support.

As a small, independent business, this kind of hit is incredibly hard to absorb. We’ve worked so hard to build what we have, and to be kept in the dark about something that directly affects our livelihood is both frustrating and heartbreaking.
