Dear family and friends,
As you may or may not know, Felipe Padilla- loving husband to Josefina and father of Phillip, Jenny, and Jonathan- is currently navigating the legal system in his recent journey to becoming an American citizen. However, an unexpected hurdle is preventing him from completing the citizenship process despite being in the US for over 35 years. In order to continue this process, he requires an immigration lawyer to go through court proceedings. Without this legal assistance, he will be deported and leave the most important thing in his life behind, his family. Felipe explains, “as a father your job never ends,” and could not bear the thought of family separation. We can use some support from our loved ones to prevent this from happening.
Although we are all doing what we can, the financial burden associated with these legal expenses is overwhelming. Please if you can donate even a dollar (any contribution is meaningful and genuinely appreciated), to support a man who has been the linchpin that holds the Padilla Family together—please consider donating.
