Help keep The Makery and Makers Market, making!

Donation protected
Hey everyone! My name is Courtney and my beautiful mama owns The Makery and The Main Street Makers Market. As you all know, see and experience every day, we are in a time of uncertainty. With Covid-19, so many things we love around us are put on pause, canceled or closed. If there is one thing that has stayed constant during this time, it's my mom. I've been around 30 years now (is it too early to have a mid-life crisis? Asking for a friend..) and for those 30 years, I have yet to meet someone as incredible as my mom. I know some of you can say the same. She's a wife, a grandmother, an old youth pastor and now, a shop owner. I have watched my mom for years put herself second. I've watched her take in kids who weren't hers and love them like they were. I've watched her forgive those who don't deserve it. I've watched her give money when she's had little to give. So, as I write all this with misty eyes, I want to do something for her. I want to put her first, because I know even though things are hard right now, she won't put herself first. She'll continue the deliveries, she'll continue donating money to those who need it and she'll continue to love with the fullest heart. If you've ever laughed, created or imagined at The Makery, I ask that you consider donating so that when the world is done being a hectic place, you have somewhere you can go where you'll be safe, warm and welcomed. I know my mom won't like that I've created this. I know she'll say, "Courtney, there are so many others who need help. What can we do for them?" but, this time, I want us all to show her that she can be first. Thanks so much to all of you who have loved her through the years, who have visited her shop and made her dream a reality and who have recognized the beauty that she is. I am so lucky to have her not only as a mom, but as my absolute best friend. Lets keep The Makery, making!
