I am reaching out because The Loc & Braid Bar is in urgent need of support in order to keep our doors open. Due to some unforeseen circumstances in the last 3-6 months, I have fallen behind with my salon rent. I requested a payment arrangement with management, which was approved, however this past Saturday I received an email that they are no longer willing to work with the payment arrangement and are requesting the past due balance in full by January 31st, otherwise, they will begin to process to terminate my lease. I have hustled up a good portion, and will continue to do so but still have a balance of $1,500 remaining.

As many of you know, I’ve worked very hard building my brand and business. The thought of losing it so suddenly is unfathomable. Additionally, I have a stylist who works in my salon who would be suddenly be displaced, as a result as well.
