As most of you know, the last thing I ever want to do is ask for help. It feels like a failure, and I always find a way. But I am struggling right now.

I lost my job in April and was fortunate to find a job quickly, but it pays way less than what I was getting paid. I also haven't earned PTO yet, and my side job isn't paying quite what I was hoping at this time.

Mom fell just over a week ago, breaking her hip. Of course, I wanted to be with her and won't ever change that, but I had to take multiple days off unpaid.

That was the last in a long line of things that have happened this year.

I am just asking for help to keep the lights on and a roof over my head while I get back on my feet.

I know things are tough for everyone, so I get it if you can't donate. But if you can, I will be most appreciative.
