Help Keep The Kitchen Cafe Alive
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Tony Hakim, Dallas treasure and owner of the beloved music venue and restaurant The Kitchen Cafe, was diagnosed with cancer a month ago and is facing a long road to recovery. For 15 years, Tony and his partner Lisa Reichenbach have brought music, love, laughter, and people together at The Kitchen, creating a beautiful haven of togetherness and joy for musicians and audiences. Now, we need your help to keep this special place alive during this critical time.
Tony Hakim has been a shining light in the Dallas scene for decades — a gifted guitarist, singer, chef, and community-builder.
After years of working as both a gigging musician and caterer, he and his partner Lisa brought those two worlds together, giving us the very special Kitchen Café, Dallas's own New York-style jazz club where every guest becomes part of the family.
With Tony dealing with a long recovery, The Kitchen is at serious risk of closing its doors. We are asking for your support to help keep The Kitchen afloat during this difficult time. Your donation will go toward covering operational costs to keep the venue open, supporting staff and musicians who rely on the venue, and ensuring the legacy of Tony's dream is secure so he can focus on healing with peace of mind.
So many of our lives have been touched by The Kitchen Cafe. We appreciate any amount you can give. Please spread the word, and thank you for helping us support these beautiful people and preserve this beautiful place.
Sincerely,
Rosana Eckert
