Hello all!

 

My name is Bre'Anna Glynn and I'm the owner of the Eucalyptus Lounge . We are black owned and family operated. I started my business in 2020 just about 2 months prior to the lockdown do to Covid-19.

 

With starting my own business my hope was to create a space where all people could simply just be. No matter your religion, skin color, sexual orientation or anything else. I wanted all to feel welcome, safe and heard.

 

I being a female person of color know how hard it is to to have all of those needs met consistently.

 

Flash forward to almost 2 years exactly (our 2 year anniversary in on the 27th of this month), we are still in a global pandemic. Let me first start by saying that I am truly grateful to still be standing at this point. My family operated business has been able to be the place that I always wanted it to be. It has provided relaxation to many women, men, couples and teens during such a difficult time and for that I'm honoured. It has truly been a dream.

 

I will always advocate for human contact as it is essential.

 

This pandemic has had us all really look at our self and our practices within self-care.

On one hand it has shown us here at The Eucalyptus Lounge that there is such a biggggg need for our industry as a whole. While on the other it has also become a very difficult task at at the same time due to the circumstances.

 

There has been many varying factors that have made things very difficult durning theses times. With the growing numbers of Covid and variants it has caused us to be pretty unstable financially. Clients are having to cancel because they either have covid, possible exposure to covid, are sick or are nervous due to the increase of cases. Not even factoring in the times where we have to cancel due to exposure.

 

With that being said I'm reaching out to the community to help keep our doors open. I have absolutely loved being able to pursue my passion while working in such a great community.
