In April 2020, after 20 or more years, the Philadelphia Eagles decided to close their community message board, the "EMB".

Members of the community banded together to create and fund the "New EMB" and it has been growing and thriving ever since, with more than 1,500 members and almost 800,000 posts (as of January 2022).

The funds raised in April and May of 2020 were sufficient to keep the board running for 2 years with almost enough to go for a third year. But as April 2022 approaches and the bills will come due, we're about $600 to $700 shy of what we'll need for another year.

The funds raised here, will pay for hosting, as well as the software license for the message board software and upgrade work to keep the board running on the latest version.

So the fund raising goal that I'm setting is $1,000.00. That's a bit more than we should need, but anything over and above what we need for 2022, will stay in the bank for future EMB bills.
