It’s really hard for me to ask for help, but I’m sharing this because Sorta Rican means so much to me and to the people who have supported our food truck along the way. After working as hard as we possibly can, emptying our 401(k), and shuffling bills around to keep anything from being shut off, we are still falling short every month. Some good friends encouraged me to start this fundraiser so we can keep our business open, and I’m trying to lean on the community that has always shown us love.

Right now, these funds will help us cover an electricity bill that suddenly tripled this month and buy the much-needed supplies we need to keep serving customers. More than anything, this support would give us a chance to keep Sorta Rican going and continue giving back to the community we care about so deeply.
