In loving memory of Shivam Rachana, 79, who peacefully passed away on June 29th 2026.

Rachana’s profound work impacted countless lives. She shone light on topics that were ahead of their time, and her teachings continue to transform women's experiences of healing and birth.

Her work expanded over 40 years. The first Women's Mysteries Circle was held in the late 1980s, and from it grew the International College of Spiritual Midwifery, encompassing Women Power & Birth, Spiritual Midwifery, Dial-a-Doula Training, national and international birth conferences, Lotus Birth, and the publication of the Lotus Birth book & documentary - which have been released in both English and other languages and continue to be used as a valuable resource.

We're asking for your support to carry this teaching forward, to keep Rachana's living legacy available and alive, so that others may continue to benefit from decades of her work.

Funds raised will go directly toward digitising and archiving Rachana's writings, photographs, research, and recordings, as well as maintaining long-term hosting for her dedicated websites (including Lotus Birth) and online archives, so her complete body of work remains accessible.
