Help keep Shawn’s smile going through his kids!

When writing about someone that has passed away the hardest part is where to begin. When writing about Shawn, it’s nearly impossible! Impossible to believe he’s gone, his children lost their dad, his wife her husband and an entire community lost their biggest supporter. There are no words in the English language to describe how someone so full of life is no longer with us. All of us are better people because of Shawn. The orange beard, the smile, willingness to lend a helping hand, compassion, dedication, laughter and so many more traits that are all now flying high above us. The dedication Shawn had to see his children smile, too teach them what hard work and dedication looked like. The juggling between hockey and football practices and games then onto being the DJ at either a wedding or fundraiser that night. Shawn did it all. Whatever it took to give his children and wife a better life Shawn got it done! Shawn was the joy in your sorrow, the hope during your downs and now we have to do the same for his wife and kids. During this tragic time we now have to come together for his wife and his children if you can donate any amount, share this fundraiser, say a prayer and most importantly hug those around you! This place on Earth will never be the same but the Heavens above surely did gain an angel. No person will or ever has been the same after meeting Shawn!

From volunteering for The West Warwick Steelers to spreading joy during St. Paddy’s Day with his green suit. Shawn was everywhere, did everything and always one of us! 

Now, it’s our turn to help Cass take care of some financial things. The boys sports, Christmas gifts, house payment, and whatever else they may need during this most tragic time in their lives. Please even just a dollar will make an impact!
