Hello. I'm David. Scandals has been a beloved part of Portland’s downtown for 46 years, and I’ve had the honor of being part of its story for the last 20. Recently, we made the big move to NE Portland, and while I’m excited for this new chapter, it’s come with some real challenges. The transition has been tough, and as we wait for better weather and more foot traffic, I’m reaching out for help to keep Scandals EAST going strong.

The funds raised will go directly toward keeping our doors open and the lights on. My first priority is to make sure Scandals EAST remains a welcoming space for our community. I’ll also use your support to repay friends and family who have helped me during this transition, and to pay down high-interest credit cards that I’ve had to rely on to cover bills. Every dollar will help us get back on our feet and continue serving the community we love.

I love Scandals, and I’m deeply grateful for the support I’ve received over the years. My hope is to be a part of Scandals EAST for another 20 years, building new memories with all of you.
