Help Keep Romans dreams alive

Hi, my name is Candice. I’ve known The Hunter family for almost 5 years. I am starting this fundraiser to help Shauni and the kids stay in the house Roman had planned on being their forever home and to cover any unforeseen costs including therapy for the family.
If you know Shauni, you know she is too stubborn to ask for help. But she is a 36 year old widow with 3 children at home. She is a 911 dispatcher and always does what she can to help the public, her friends and family.
Romans unexpected passing has left a hole in our hearts! He wanted everyone around him to be prepared for what ever the world throws at you, but how can you be prepared for this? How do you say goodbye to your husband, father, brother & son?
On July 8, 2022, Roman Hunter, age 40, passed peacefully in his favorite place he had created, his home. Heaven gained an angel and the world became a little bit darker, as Roman made his way on to his next adventure. While we’ll never know why he was taken so soon; anyone who knew him knew the importance for him to have as much knowledge as possible before embarking on a quest and his desire to ensure everyone around him would be safe and protected. He’s gone before us to blaze the trail home, and we know he will be waiting to greet us when our day comes.
Roman lived a full life for the short time he was on Earth, and touched everyone he came in contact with, whether by being their rock, or giving them a memory that will bring a smile or laugh when they think of him. His smile and laughter were infectious. He was an amazing little brother to Bronson and Kristi, and he loved both of them immensely. He was a strong parent that pushed his children to be the best possible people they can be, his example will shine through each of them on their path and he will continue to watch over, protect, and be proud of each and every one of them for the individuals they will become. Roman was the most amazing husband and cherished his wife with everything he had. He was patient, humble and kind, and the anchor she needed to stay grounded. He was the most prepared man anyone could ever meet and made sure his wife would have the strength and courage to continue on alone raising their children until he’s ready to come back and get her.
Roman was a best friend to any friend he met; he spread laughter, wisdom, and lived in service to everyone in his life. He was always the first to offer help and enjoyed helping the people around him in any way he could, even if they were strangers. He was an impeccable employee with true work ethic and grit. He was an amazing craftsman and could turn any project his wife gave him into art, and he taught his skills to anyone willing to learn.
