Surprising news: Animal rescue centre broke!

The Canine Research Group is in a bit of a mess!

As you know we train rescue dogs to do conservation scent detection but we also had some exciting plans for the coming months (more about that in a bit).

However, a few things have gone wrong! Some baboons came and destroyed one of our tents - £416 in approximately 5 minutes. Our solar battery has decided it needs a holiday - £3331, and along with that the loss of 18kgs of dog training treats - £38. (We are considering feeding the rotten meat to the baboons as revenge, little bastards!)

Anyway, jokes aside, these are a lot of financial surprises and we were so hopeful we would be able to create some free dog training videos for everyone to watch at home. To create those we were saving up (we needed approximately £2498 as we have to take time off our day jobs to get everything done) but all of that is now being spent on stupid tent poles and batteries. Currently we don't have a fridge to store dog food and this is not really a negotiable situation because despite trying to tell the dogs vegetables are great, they're not buying it! We know it's a big ask but anything helps.

Also, since you asked, we want to do cancer scent detection to help save lives. We had been promised a huge amount but spotted red flags and realised we were dealing with a Netflix type swindler (I know, right!!!) . Don't worry, we didn't part with any money (he disappeared pretty quick when he saw how broke we were ) but had counted on someone and so our idea of creating a large cancer detection centre entirely staffed by rescue dogs is currently as likely as us opening a ballet school! To do the cancer detection project we need £124 per dog per month for 12 months (8 dogs), we are hoping to create a dedicated centre for this so if you're rolling in it, you know.... We're asking for donations. Help us. Help the pups.
