Help keep puppy for Autisic Child
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Dorothy,
My daughter and I need help to keep their puppy named Glory. My grandson was diagnosed with Aspergers (when he was 5 years old) which put him on the Autism spectrum.
Recently My daughter took a chance on love and got married. After a few months of living in the same house, she found out who and what he was and had to flee the home.
Glory was given to her and Riley as a gift a few months before the marriage. She is an Aussiedoodle. Several years ago Chelsey had researched the best type of breed that would be a great fit for her and Riley and she has been wanting one for him ever since.
She helped pay for her after the Ex suggested going ahead and getting one. During the divorce, the ex made sure to use Glory as a pre-marital property and he held Glory over Chelsey's head and she barely got out with her.
I say barely because she has 25 days (by February 19th) to come up with $2500 to pay him to keep Glory.
Glory has been a tremendous help to Riley and herself emotionally, mentally and physically helping Riley to learn and grow. Helping them both to heal from what they have been through. Riley depends on Glory. He looks forward to coming home from school and waking up and playing with her.
Glory has taught him so much and he is very attached to her as is Chelsey.
With all the Attorney fees and costs from the divorce Chelsey and our family are having a hard time covering all the Bills let alone coming up with an extra $2500 in such a short amount of time to keep Glory. She is now a single mother again raising her autistic son and we are devastated that they may lose Glory.
If anyone can see it in their heart to help, we all would be very appreciative.
Chelsey is a very strong and independent woman. She is beautiful, kind and loving. She realized her worth and the worth of her son and got out. She would love to be able to do this by herself but she realizes the chances are too high that she can lose the only puppy she ever wanted for Riley and herself.
If you have any questions or need more info please feel free to contact me. Thank you and May God Bless Y'all.
P.S. If you can't help we understand. It is rough these days.
I would like to ask if you could please share so we can get the word out. Also, prayers are powerful and go a long way. Again I appreciate everything and Thank you all
