Deportation isn’t just separating people from their homes and lives here in the US it is separating families in all forms. My dear friend is being deported back to her home country and is desperately trying to bring her beloved cat, Patricio, with her. Between flights, transport fees, and vet clearances, the costs are overwhelming. Pets are family too, and no one should have to leave theirs behind because of the cost of being forced out of this country. I am hoping to raise some money to contribute to Patricio’s moms cost of leaving in hopes it can cover the vet and travel bills.
