We are raising funds this month to help cover rent and essential bills for five families in our community, including four young children. These are our neighbors, our friends, and people who deserve safety, stability, and peace of mind during an incredibly difficult time.

We know everyone is tired. We know so many of you have already given, shared, and supported in every way you could over the past month. And we are deeply grateful. But the reality is, this crisis is not over. Many people are still unable to leave their homes to work. Many are struggling to keep up with rent, utilities, and basic necessities. The fear of eviction or having the lights turned off is very real right now.

Large organizations and corporations are often slow to respond, and many families can’t afford to wait. That’s why we are coming together as a community to take care of one another — directly, quickly, and with love.

All funds raised will be directed directly to the families to help cover their most urgent needs, including rent and utilities. If we are fortunate enough to raise more than what these families need, the remaining funds will be redirected to trusted mutual aid efforts around Minneapolis to support other at-risk individuals and families who are struggling to access basic essentials.
