My husband has been the backbone of our family for nearly 25 years. He has lived in this country for close to 30 years, working hard and supporting us every step of the way. Recently, he was stopped for speeding while in the process of getting his green card. Although he is not undocumented, he does not have legal status yet, and because of this, he was arrested for driving violations. ICE put a hold on him, and now he is being detained far from home.

This has turned our world upside down. My husband is our sole provider, and I am disabled and unable to work. In just the last few days, we have paid significant attorney fees and spent money traveling to see him, only to be told he would not be released even if we paid his bond. The legal process is overwhelming, and we are facing even more attorney fees in the days ahead. On top of that, we are struggling to pay our bills and keep a roof over our heads.

We are reaching out because we need help to keep our family together. The funds raised will go directly to his attorney fees and help us avoid becoming homeless. To anyone out there that is listening, my family is in need of some heavyweight prayer warriors.
