Hi! I’m reaching out because my family is going through a very difficult time. My partner unexpectedly lost his job, and my own work has slowed down to the point where we have no paychecks coming in. We were already living paycheck to paycheck, and now the bills are piling up faster than we can keep up. We’ve been applying for jobs and looking for side work, but it feels like we keep hitting brick walls. After weeks of waiting, we’re finally starting to get a few interview calls, but things are already being disconnected and we’re so close to January’s rent that I don’t think we’ll have it by the 5th.

We have children and pets who depend on us, and the thought of not being able to provide a safe home for them is terrifying. We want to relocate to a state with a lower cost of living, but right now we simply don’t have the funds to make that move. All we want is to keep a roof over our heads and the lights on until we can get back on our feet. Any extra funds we receive will go directly toward rent and utilities so we can avoid eviction and keep our family together.
