My family has always tried to open our hearts and home to children who need a safe place, especially those coming from abusive situations. We live on a fixed income, and while we do our best to make ends meet, life has thrown us some unexpected challenges. Recent illnesses and surprise expenses have left us struggling, and now we are facing eviction if we can't come up with the funds we need by January 6th.
