Help Keep Our Doors Open in 2022

Protea Place Women's Support Centre has supported thousands of women in its first 2 years of operation. The only women's center for the region and with no government funding we have shown what is possible when a group of caring people all join together.

2022 is already showing us that the need for our services are greater than even. But we cant do this work without you.

We currently have funds to operate until June 2022. If we cant raise more funds quickly, sadly, we will be forced to close the doors. Covid has made fundraising events limited and very difficult.

Please dig deep and help us help her. We provide meals, clothing, showers, toiletries, referrals and more to women who are experiencing homelessness, domestic and family violence and disadvantage. We assist women to secure housing and we assist with furniture and household items to get back on their feet. We also assist women to find employment to overcome financial disadvantage.
