Hi, I'm Hannah, the daughter of a fabulous chap named Mark.

For the past 16 years, my dad has lovingly cared for two donkeys in Old Catton. They have been a constant part of the local area and very much loved by many people in the community.

What’s happened Sadly, one of the donkeys, our beloved Norman (the dark brown) passed away suddenly. The response from the community has been overwhelming, showing just how much these animals — and my dad’s care for them — have meant to people over the years.

Donkeys are social animals and shouldn’t be alone. My dad is doing everything he can to ensure the remaining donkey, Gary, has companionship and continues to be well cared for. This may involve bringing in another donkey or arranging shared care, which comes with unexpected costs including:

Transport

Veterinary checks

Ongoing care and feed

Shelter and fencing adjustments if needed.

This fundraiser is to help my dad cover the costs of ensuring the remaining donkey is not left alone and can continue to live a happy, healthy life.
