Help Save the Humane Society of Odessa — We Need Our Community Now

We are the Humane Society of Odessa, the largest no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter in West Texas. For years, we’ve been a safe haven for abandoned, neglected, and abused animals — giving them a second chance at life, love, and a forever home.

Right now, we’re facing one of the toughest battles in our history.

We receive no city funding, no grants, and have no major sponsors. We rely completely on community support to stay open — and that support is running out.

If we cannot raise enough funds, we risk having to close our doors. That means over 200 dogs and cats could be sent to other shelters — many of which are not no-kill facilities. Their futures would no longer be in our hands.

Running a shelter is expensive — from food, medical care, and supplies, to keeping the lights on and giving these animals the care they deserve. Every dollar helps us cover the basic costs that keep our doors open and our animals safe.

We are praying for a miracle this holiday season — and we’re asking our community to stand with us.
