In Loving Memory of Naomi Arad Broome

UPDATE: In case anyone has yet to hear, I am devastated to report that Naomi's battle with cancer is over, and that she has passed away peacefully at home.

Instead of funding her treatment, this GoFundMe will pivot to paying down medical debt, funeral expenses, and hopefully, putting some money aside for a college fund for Bayla.

Hi, my name is Evan, and I've been friends with Naomi Arad-Broome since high school! Naomi has battled cancer before as a child, but now her cancer has returned, and she needs our help.

Naomi has blue nevus melanoma, an uncommon and highly aggressive melanoma. You can learn more about it at this link:

Naomi's situation is particularly challenging because this is her second cancer diagnosis in the same location, and it cannot be treated by traditional methods.

Instead, Naomi will receive a weekly infusion of an immunotherapy drug, which means multiple hospital stays during the early weeks to monitor for potentially serious side effects.
