Hello,

My name is Hope and Nado is my beautiful boy. Recently, we have been working to help Nado with his separation anxiety which entailed some times of barking. Nado was asked to be removed from our home and is currently in long term boarding with an amazing person. We are determined to keep our boy in our family but are unfortunately in a lease until October 2026, so we are having to pay an additional rent for Nado which financially is hard. During this time we are looking for a future home that we can bring our boy home to. The Humane Society was Nado’s home for 8 months and the Foster/Resource program shared with me that some volunteers were interesting in helping us out with Nado. We greatly appreciate all support we have received from the Seattle Humane Society in helping us keep our boy, Nado, a part of our family. He truly is such an important and major part of our lives.

Update 1/30/26:

Nado has been experiencing some increased medical concerns and needs. With that we are having unexpected medical fees and increased boarding costs that are definitely impacting us
