Help Keep Mr. Z with Franklin Pierce Choir

My name is Forrest Simolea and I am a choir student at Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma, Washington. The man circled in red within the pictures is Ulises Zavaleta, but me and many other choir students who he had mentored for a whopping 3 years know him as Mr. Z. As of today, 05/14/2025, I have received the news that, because of district funding reasons, Mr Z will be involuntarily removed from his teaching job here at Franklin Pierce. I, as well as many other choir students here at FP are devastated by the news because we’d not only be loosing a part of FP, but a part of our family as well. Over the THREE years he’s been teaching here I speak for many people when I say it has felt like he’s been teaching for many more. The reason as to why I put the donations to be sent to myself is because I am also a part of FP ASB and I fear losing my position as junior class officer candidate, but if that’s the sacrifices I have to take to keep Mr. Z here at FP then so be it. I’m not begging or pleading for you to donate, but I do want you to please consider this situation as if it was going on in your life. Thank you, and God Bless.
