Costs for rescue have drastically risen, and with no one adopting in the region, I've had to drive to places like Paso Robles, CA, Flagstaff, AZ, North Las Vegas, NV, and Phoenix, AZ. This week will be three times in the last 6 weeks... Soft costs like extra gas, bait/food, supplies, and wear and tear on the car surpassed earnings in March/April. I couldn't get enough sub days, try as I might, so it's a deficit situation and I have to live on cash/earnings only right now. Things are tough, so anything you can share would be deeply appreciated. Right now, I've put a temporary hold on rescues because of this, which is terrifyingly sad. Savings are gone, retirement is gone, and not looking for sympathy - just a little help if you can or prayers and positive energy if things are tight for you. All these are deeply appreciated. So-called soft costs have skyrocketed and usually aren’t thought about but they hit hard.  Thank you .
