Help Keep Singing DRAG Show Alive!

In all my years as a dancer, choreographer, actor and host, there is one thing I’ve never done - ask anyone for financial help. So, this is a first. And it’s not easy. But I wouldn’t be asking if it wasn’t very important to me: the opportunity to keep classic live singing drag performances on stage in the entertainment capital of the world. We need to continue to demonstrate to the 40-million worldwide visitors to Vegas that drag is a viable art form. It’s not something to make a political issue out of and it’s certainly not something that we need to keep families away from.

During the pandemic, I lost my long-running Vegas gig after over 13 years and over 5,600 performances as the host of Cirque du Soleil’s “Zumanity.” Sadly the show ended as as result of Covid. It was devastating to see our show, and so many others, close permanently. To make it worse, we found out on a Zoom call. Not in person. On a ZOOM. Ouch.

After that devastating blow came months of uncertainty both financially and emotionally. Eventually, I pulled myself up by my pantyhose and got to work! Along with my partner Jamie, we launched our long-time dream to produce a high quality all-live singing drag show in Vegas. “Faaabulous! The Show” was born in March of 2021. We found a venue downtown and worked through the many Covid related restrictions to make the show a reality. After a two year run, we were offered the opportunity to move to

a beautiful new stage just a half mile up from The Strip and around the corner from the city’s LGBTQ+ nightlife.

This is the break we’ve been waiting for! Unfortunately the costs associated with expanding the number of performance days, increasing the size of our cast and adding to our marketing efforts is expensive and beyond what we can do personally. But it’s the only way to get the show to the place where it can become self-sustaining.

I am so proud of this show. The cast is phenomenal! Incredible singers, great dancers, all of them stars in their own right. I am so lucky to share the stage with them. This is as much for them as it is for me. We are a true ensemble. A family. My “Faaabulous!” family.

This is the tough part where I ask for your financial support.

We have less than three weeks to secure at least $25,000 to keep Faaabulous! on stage in Vegas. Typically we’d rely on theater investors (please let us know if you know any) or loans. Instead we’re asking family, friends and our amazing supporters to become a patron of drag performing arts.

Any amount will help us reach our goal. Of course, it’s said that bigger is better. I couldn’t agree more! Larger amounts will help us get there faster. Everyone who

$5,000 - unlimited access to the show for up to two guests at a time for a full year

Like I said, I’ve never asked for financial help before and I wouldn’t now if this wasn’t something that I’m absolutely passionate about. Your support will ensure that high quality drag performances remain on stage, for what we hope, will be years to come here in Las Vegas and beyond!
