Help Me Keep Little Hearts Beating

Hi, I’m Sofie – founder of Little Hearts , and now creator of Hero Emotions.

For the past year, I’ve poured everything I have —

my time, energy, heart, and soul — into building Little Hearts from the ground up.

No capital. No salary. Just a mission that felt more right than anything I’ve ever done.

We started by co-creating affirmation cards with teachers and children – designed to help kids explore emotions, celebrate differences, and grow self-worth through words and imagery.

Since then, Little Hearts has grown into so much more:

a collection of prints, clothing, posters, e-books, and classroom tools –all with one mission: to make children feel seen, safe, and proud of who they are.

And recently, that mission took a new shape:

Hero Emotions — a universe where feelings become superpowers. I’ve learned new tools, written lyrics, animated visuals, and created a world that helps kids embrace every part of who they are.

‍What is Hero Emotions?

Hero Emotions (Swedish: Superkänslorna) is a new emotional education concept for kids.

Each emotion is a colorful, animated character — helping children understand and befriend their feelings with courage and curiosity.

This is about turning feelings into friends.

About making emotional literacy fun, visual, and empowering.

My dream?

To develop Hero Emotions into a global platform with:

The potential of what this can be is limitless.

Because every child deserves to know:

“All your feelings are okay — and once you understand them, they can be your superpower.”

If feelings are superheroes… they shouldn't be so scary to get to know, right?

If I reach my goal...

It would mean I can continue working full-time on this project for at least the next three / four months –

with time to develop new stories, songs, and tools, and bring Hero Emotions to more families and schools.

It’s a chance to give this dream the time and energy it truly deserves.

I made this choice. I took a wild leap, fully aware of the risk and uncertainty.

And I would do it all over again.

Because this past year — building, creating, learning, and seeing the joy in kids and families —

has been the most fulfilling chapter of my life.

If I can’t continue, I will still be incredibly proud of what I’ve built.

My inner child is impressed. ☺️

But I truly dream of continuing.

I believe Little Hearts is just getting started —

and that we have so much magic, healing, and impact to bring into this world.

Right now, I’m at a turning point.
