Hi, my name is Lucia, and I’m the founder of Little Creative Souls, a nature-based school that has grown from a simple dream into a beautiful, thriving community where children are free to learn through play, creativity, and their deep connection with nature.

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this. Asking for help in this way is deeply humbling and not something I take lightly. But the truth is—I’m scared. The school that I’ve poured my heart and soul into is in danger of closing.

Due to unexpected permit issues with the city, I’ve been told I must make major changes to the space—including construction and compliance work I simply wasn’t prepared for, financially or emotionally. These challenges have brought overwhelming costs, and I’m struggling to find a way forward on my own.

This school is more than a place—it’s a living, breathing community built with love. It’s a safe haven for children to grow as their whole selves, to be outdoors, to express, to create, and to connect with one another and the earth.

I’ve done everything I can to stay afloat—every resource, every ounce of energy, every late night of research and paperwork. But now I’m at a point where I can’t do it alone. And that’s why I’m turning to you—my community, my extended family—for help.
