We need your support, currently in the form of financial assistance, to pay for caregivers and a hefty emergency vet bill.

Lindsay has been living with ALS for over 13 years and the reason she is still thriving is because she’s able to stay at home, receiving amazing care from her mom and a team of wonderful caregivers…and her life-giving emotional support cats, Chicken and Litha. At home, Lindsay has access to the nutrition (homemade tube food, supplements, andy herbs) she needs, all of her art supplies, and the essential love and cuddles with her cats, especially Chicken, who Lindsay describes as “her everything and soul mate.”

Last week Chicken suddenly became very ill. He spent two nights in the emergency vet hospital being treated for kidney problems (over 20 kidney stones and possible damage from gods know what), what turned into a really bad UTI, and to top it off IBD. The bravest majestic lion, who has been taking impeccable protective care of Lindsay for eleven years, has a very sensitive body now and needs a special diet and some special care of his own. And a hefty vet bill that is wiping out all the funds for everything.
