Lee, my husband's dad, was a truly good-hearted person who always looked out for others, even when they didn't do the same for him. He was first diagnosed with cancer in late 2018 or early 2019, and after a long and difficult journey, he went into remission in 2021. For a while, it seemed like things were looking up. But in early 2023, Lee's son's mom, Tonja, noticed he was losing weight and encouraged him to get checked. Sadly, he was re-diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. Despite the difficult news, Lee fought bravely up until this month of December, surrounded by the love and support of his family and friends. Over the last week, Lee received more support than he could have ever imagined, a testament to the impact he had on those around him.

Lee spent so much of his life taking care of everyone else that he sometimes forgot what it meant to take care of himself. He was always the first to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a place to stay for anyone in need. His kindness and generosity touched so many lives, and he never asked for anything in return. Now, as we face the loss of such a selfless man, we want to honor his memory by supporting his family in this difficult time.
