Kristy has always been a strong and independent woman, but there comes a time, when all of us need help. She is still waiting on a decision for SS Disability eligibility and does not know when she will be healthy enough to return to work.

Her breast cancer journey started in August 2023 with a confirmed diagnosis. The port was put in and chemo/immunotherapy began in September. She had to have the port replaced in October and her last chemo was completed in February 2024. Her double mastectomy surgery was in March with some complications in wound healing. In April Kristy began her Keytruda (immunotherapy) which was scheduled to be completed by January 2025. Unfortunately, this caused a severe psoriasis outbreak and shingles rash. July 16th Kristy was diagnosed with double pneumonia causing her oxygen level to drop on exertion, a serious side effect of the Keytruda. She will be on antibiotics and steroids, then switched to a different immunotherapy treatment. Hopefully that will also clear up her skin challenges.

She has been so very positive, brave and strong through this life changing event. We know she's a fighter but it's taking a toll on her energy. Please keep her in your prayers, give her a call, send her a card or text her a message to lift her spirits.

She is asking for your financial assistance a while longer until her disability kicks in and ultimately she can return to work.
