Help Keep Judo Alive in Juneau
Donation protected
Greetings Everyone,
Capital City Judo is conducting this fundraiser In conjunction with the Ippon Throw A thon This year to help raise funds for the summer semester.
The Throw - A -Thon will take place at our DOJO in the Mendenhall Mall on May 22nd starting at 5:30.
Sensei’s Damien and Keith will show mat work, throwing techniques, Kata, and more. Students will each demonstrate a favorite throw and pin. Capital City Judo is a volunteer organization. All money collected goes to supporting martial arts and self-defense in the Juneau Community.
Capital City needs these funds to remain operational through the summer months and to continue to provide scholarship incentives for our youths and families that otherwise could not afford to partake in Judo. Through the gracious support of the Mendenhall Mall team we have secured a spot for our dojo, but rising costs have made this annual fundraiser a necessity to keep the Dojo open.
We greatly appreciate all of your donations. Feel free to visit us at capitalcityjudo.com for more information on our dojo.
Thank You,
Sensei Damien Horvath
