Help Keep Jordan at Home as His HERNS Progresses
Donation protected
As many of you know, Jordan Ferenc has been living with the progressive symptoms of HERNS – a rare and fatal genetic disease – for the past decade. Since his diagnosis, Jordan’s wife, Freer, and their eleven-year-old daughter, Miller, along with his beloved family and friends, have supported him through organ transplants, brain lesions, and countless hospital visits. Unfortunately, JORDAN HAS HIT A CRITICAL AND URGENT POINT IN THE PROGRESSION OF HIS DISEASE. Jordan is now experiencing early dementia and memory loss, limited mobility, and further deteriorating eyesight – new issues that have arisen so quickly that Freer has had to take a leave of absence from teaching third grade to manage them. Jordan and his loved ones are asking for your support to hire in-home care, purchase and install a chair lift for the stairs, make handicap renovations to their house, and more to keep him in his home and the family together for as long as possible. This will also be a nest egg for when Jordan eventually needs long term care. Jordan and his loved ones see each and every one of you who has or will support them as a real-life superhero. YOUR DONATION WILL DIRECTLY HELP THE FERENC/GOODBODY FAMILY CONTINUE TO DEAL WITH THIS AWFUL DISEASE’S IMPACT ON JORDAN’S LIFE. THANK YOU FOR BEING ONE OF JORDAN’S HEROS!
Freer and Jordan are eternally grateful to everyone who has given in the past. Those funds allowed their family to pay outrageous medical bills; secure the services of a concierge doctor for specialty, priority treatment; make one of their bathrooms handicap accessible, and more.
