Help Keep Jean's Future at Algoma University Alive

Hi everyone, my name is Jean Senatus. I’m currently a student-athlete at Algoma University, pursuing my degree in Business Administration and playing on the basketball team. I’m reaching out because I’m at risk of losing my spot at the university if I don’t pay $6,000 for my tuition and fees.

Being part of Algoma’s basketball program has been a dream come true for me. It’s given me the opportunity to grow as a player and a person, and I’m determined to keep pursuing my goals both on and off the court. However, financial barriers have made this really tough.

I need your support to help me cover this $6,000 balance so I can stay enrolled, continue playing basketball, and complete my education. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring me closer to my goal. I myself am currently working 2 jobs this summer to work off these fees as well. And the incoming donations will be going towards my Algoma tuition.

To give a breakdown of who I am and where my education and basketball journey has taken me . I graduated from union Endicott Highschool in 2021. Studied at Suny Broome for 2 years and have played there as well. I currently study In Ontario, Canada At Algoma University. I decided to go to Algoma to broaden my horizon of living and experience maybe to far from home. This choice has led me to meet amazing people like my coaches and team mates. I would like to continue my studies at Algoma because my future at my school and my community are brighter than ever. My main road block is my tuition and fees holding me back from registering into summer classes to continue my education and to be eligible the coming semester. Any donation no matter how much would be of great use to help cut this cost down as much as we can.
