Dar Al-Arqam (Evergreen Islamic Institute) has been a home to Muslims in the greater Snohomish area since the early 90’s. This masjid has provided an Islamic education for our youth since it’s establishment alongside providing a space to bring the community together to celebrate, to mourn and to unite as one Ummah. With all that it has done for us, it is now our turn to give back to the institution that raised us. 


One of the buildings on the property where classes commence is currently FLOODING! A pipe in the garage broke and has caused extensive damage. Meaning that once school commences in safe manner in virus world, this building will be off limits, resulting in less classrooms and less teachers. Our focus and goal is to repair the pipe and clean up the damages (mold buildup) it has caused so that the building continues to operate safely for our children. As mentioned in the video, the second project that needs to be completed is parking lot repairs. We’ve slowly started this process, but due to low funds, we are unable to continue without your help. 


With the breakdown of all the costs combined, we are looking at $32K. We’ve set our goal for $35K, and plan to allocate any additional funds towards other masjid bills.
