Gourmonade is a family-owned gourmet lemonade company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I started Gourmonade in 2018 with a simple dream: to create a refreshing, healthy, and delicious drink that brings people together and puts smiles on faces. What began as a small idea grew into something meaningful through farmers markets, community events, and real conversations with customers who believed in what we were building. Gourmonade has always been about more than lemonade — it’s been about community, joy, and creating something special with intention and heart.

This past year, however, has been incredibly challenging. Like many small, independent businesses, rising costs and a tough economic climate have created a serious cash flow gap for us. Right now, we are past due on critical expenses such as rent and PG&E, and we’re at a point where continuing without help has become very difficult. Starting this fundraiser was not an easy decision. Asking for help is humbling, but I believe in the community that helped build Gourmonade from the beginning. This fundraiser is about bridging a difficult moment — stabilizing our operations, catching up on essential bills, and giving this business the chance to continue serving the community it was created for.

Funds raised will go directly toward keeping Gourmonade alive during this critical period. They will be used to catch up on essential operating expenses, including rent and PG&E, and to keep the business functioning day to day. The goal is to create immediate breathing room so Gourmonade can continue operating, fulfill existing commitments, and remain open while we work toward longer-term opportunities like catering, corporate partnerships, and community events.
