My name is Gilberto, and for the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of owning and operating Gibby’s Lounge—a small, welcoming spot where locals and travelers alike can enjoy good company, beer, wine, seltzers, and delicious food. It’s been a joy to serve my community and meet guests from all over the country, and I’m grateful for every moment I’ve spent building this space.

This past year has brought some unexpected challenges. Rising costs of goods, emergency room bills, and urgent home repairs have all added up, and a slow season has made it even harder to keep up.
