Equinox is a grassroots endeavor that sprouted from the heart of its owner and founder, Laura Cascardi. It has been operating with extremely limited resources, and is now fully reliant on community involvement in order to stay alive. Let’s support our local herbal center and give back to the community hub that has done so much for so many of us.

Equinox needs our immediate help or it will be forced to go out of business.

Anyone who has had the honor of connecting with Laura knows that she is a wise healer with a humble and generous heart. She is a nurturer of many and truly changes the lives of anyone who encounters her and her life’s work. The number of people that Laura has positively impacted is innumerable, and in order for her to continue fulfilling her calling, she needs our help. If your life has been changed by Laura, now is the moment to help give back to ensure a viable future for the classes, programs, and community she has built.

Laura carries a vast wealth of knowledge and has been a pillar of learning and healing in the Fort Collins community for over 10 years. She’s been providing long term herbal education courses, individualized client care, and herbal remedies for the public, all of which offered at the lowest cost possible. Her events are almost entirely donation based, sliding scale, and herbs are provided at the most affordable prices to make herbalism accessible for all. Laura has always been passionate about keeping these goods and services available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstance, and this remains a primary value in her mission. However, that is not able to cover the bills at this time and more funds are desperately needed in order to keep the heart of Equinox beating. This dynamic herbal center is the culmination of Laura’s life work, and this is only the beginning of what this wellspring of wisdom, connection, and wholeness can become with the reciprocation of its community.

We are asking you to show appreciation for her extreme hard work, dedication, and generosity towards the plants and the people who want to know them.
